Can’t make it live, but want to practice with me anyway! Yay! I still hope you’ll join me live sometime, but I’m THRILLED we’ll still (kinda) practice together. These video classes are exclusive to members. They have been removed from YouTube. These are just for YOU! I will continue to add at least 2 new classes each week. Woot!
Say hello to your serratus muscle
By request, we work the serratus muscle repeatedly in this class. Want to do jumpbacks, lolasana, and jump throughs? This is the muscle you need to strengthen. We also take advantage of being warmed up well to work on our jump backs and jump throughs at the end too. This is a really good "vegetables" practice. Sure, handstands are more fun, but this will get you far in your practice.
Funky Dolphins and Inversions Vinyasa Flow
Meet my new kittens! Lol... they make a guest starring appearance in this class. Aside from giggling over their antics, we do some yoga. We work several variations of funky dolphin, headstand, and pincha. That's a lot of shoulder work. Enjoy!
Vinyasa Yoga: Extra Core Ladder Flow
By request, this class has core thrown in throughout each flow. We keep it moving and build our ladder flow after flow. I love a good ladder flow! We also go upside down (of course 🙂 ). I really enjoyed this very vigorous practice. I hope you do too!
Vinyasa Yoga: All Around Flow
Just keep moving. That's what we do in this practice. We hit it all and of course we throw in a few inversions for fun!
Vinyasa with extra hip mobility and strength work
Mmmm... raise your hand if you love working those hips! (crickets) Ok, me either, but for those of us that do a lot of repetitive forward to back movements like running, hiking, and cycling, it's important that we work mobility into our practices. We also do some extra core work in the practice.
Dancer/Core Flow Vinyasa
We work lots of dancers into our flow. We also hit core pretty hard in this class, specifically the elusive iliopsoas. As usual we spend a little time upside down in handstand and pincha and lots of movement.
Vigorous Vinyasa
Lots of fun stuff happening in this vinyasa class. Twists, core, handstands, the works! Have fun with this challenging flow that has something for everyone.
Backbends & Balancing Ladder Flow
You know I love a good ladder flow. This class takes a break between each rung of the ladder to balance. The ladder itself is focused on backbends and hip flexor opening. Generally, those are not my strengths, and this class is no exception, prepared to be not-at-all wowed by my backbends, BUT, I felt great after this class. Try it!
Booty/Core Vinyasa Class
Let's face it, we can all use a little extra booty and core work. Me too! We really get it done in this class. It's an all around vinyasa class with lots of flows and lots of vinyasas, but we hit that lower body hard. I felt this one for a couple of days. 😀 Enjoy!
Vinyasa with Extra Hip / Back Love
We spend a little extra time working on low back stretches and hip opening in this class. It's still a challenging vinyasa class, but we start a little slower, exploring mobility.
All Around Flow
This a head to toe flow. We start with some lower back stretches, move into a fun flow with balancing, twists, and inversions. We finish with extra core work. Fun!
Hip Opening Vinyasa
This is another challenging class (grab your hand towel, it's a sweaty one) and we really work on getting into those hips. We build up chair figure fours until we land in our flying pigeon pose (eka pada galavasana).
Full Body Vinyasa with Handstands
This is a challenging fast-paced vinyasa class with lots of opportunities to upside down. Handstands and arm balances in abundance. We also hit lots of core in this one. Have fun!
360 Degrees of Core Vinyasa
When the request for core happened today, I decided to explore what that really means. It's easy to confuse core strength with only ab strength and specifically 6 pack muscle strength. Your core is so much more than that. Your back muscles, your glutes, and ALL of the muscle groups of your abdominal wall (psoas, rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, internal and external obliques) play a roll in core strength. We hit them all in this hour. [...]
All Around Vinyasa Class
We do everything here. Some arm balancing, plenty of flows, back bends, planks & core. We move a little more quickly.
Working toward Bird of Paradise
Working deliberately towards bird of paradise and bound bird of paradise in this class. Need to work on getting your hips mobile enough for bird of paradise? This is a good flow class for you.
Core, Glutes, All the Things Vinyasa
We hit it all in this class, with extra love and attention to abs and glutes.
So Many Twists!
Yes, you read that right. By request, this class is all about twists. Those twists are part of a vinyasa flow that starts out slow and picks up speed. As always, when we're working o twists, I will often work both strength and flexibility of the interior and exterior obliques.
Ashtanga Half-Primary (Kinda)
Can you do the Ashtanga Primary Series in 60 minutes? Um... no, you can not. Not unless you speed it up by counting fast through the holds and skipping quite a few poses. Voila, that's what we have here. However, that doesn't mean that isn't 60 minutes well spent. Ashtanga is a beautiful, challenging, full-body exploration of yoga. It's my favorite. Join me!
All Around Stretchy Vinyasa
A little extra leg stretching in this vinyasa class for my endurance athletes that join me live. And of course, we get a little extra core work in there too. Other than that, this is a pretty well-rounded, not-too-complicated vinyasa class. No tricky transitions, but pretty strength driven.
Arms & Core
Love planks, chaturangas, and core? Me too! We really hit the strength work hard in this class. On the flip side, we lay off the legs a bit more than usual, so if you've been hitting the road, trails, or bike a lot lately and want to focus on upper body strength, this one is for you.
Back Bending Flow
This is a psoas opening class for one of our live students heading out on a road trip. We do several variations of back bends and back strengthening. It's still a vigorous Vinyasa flow class, but with a little more attention to opening the front body. This is a good balance to the constant pushing that we do in most Vinyasa classes.
Pilates Mat + Ladder Flow Vinyasa
Love to work your core? Yeah, I see you. Me too. We start class on our backs and do just that for the first half of class. Then we flow and flow with a quicker paced ladder flow. No terribly tricky transitions in this class, just a straight forward practice.
Slow Strength Flow that Speeds Up
For the first half of class, we slow it down. We work different kinds of planks, we stretch, we breathe. Then we ramp it up with a ladder flow. A lot. By the end of this class, I was in a full sweat!
Vinyasa with a side of Hamstring Stretches & Core
Although we sneak in a few arm balances at the end of this practice, this is primarily a lower body focused Ladder Flow Vinyasa class with extra hamstring stretches and core work, by request.
