If you take these classes onDemand, you know what you’re getting into. You have the focus right in the title. Hate twisting and you take called Let’s do the Twist – well, you have no one to blame but yourself. If you take them live, it’s generally a surprise. When I told the live students we were doing a back bending class this morning, I was met with a chorus of groans and moans. It was like a haunted choir. Lol. Look, I hate back bends too, but they’re really important. Especially, in vinyasa, Ashtanga, Power yoga, etc. We do A LOT of core work. Add to that, we sit in cars and at computers, we carry groceries and kids in front of us. It’s no wonder we all have back problems. Back bending and twisting are the solution. Also I throw some scorpion pose for candy as a reward. So just do it. 🙂
