Can’t make it live, but want to practice with me anyway! Yay! I still hope you’ll join me live sometime, but I’m THRILLED we’ll still (kinda) practice together. These video classes are exclusive to members. They have been removed from YouTube. These are just for YOU! I will continue to add at least 2 new classes each week. Woot!
Strong Vinyasa class with firefly pose
Lots of movement in this phone. Core work, some glute work, and some firefly pose. Enjoy!
Core-Driven Vinyasa
This class is exactly what it sounds like: Vinyasa with more than a healthy side dose of core worked in there, most in plank form 🙂 Enjoy!
Loads of Core Vinyasa
Have fun with this core driven Vinyasa class. We hit it from all angles and get a little extra legwork in there too. It’s vigorous energizing!
Legs and Twists
Let’s get your burn on! Lots of legwork in this practice. We also do a bunch of twisting to keep your back nice and healthy. This is a favorite practice of mine. Hope you enjoy!
Goddess Flow
Lots of leg activation in this practice. Goddess pose is great for working quads, and glute medius (outer hip, external rotator). It's a challenging, lower body centric practice. Not a ton of upside down time, but as always, just add it in!
Hooray for planks! Vinyasa
Do you love planks? Me too!! Ok, even if you don't, do them. They're good for you, your yoga practice and your all around spinal health.
Rocket Inspired Vinyasa (Level 1)
Don't be scared... Rocket is just another type of Vinyasa class and not too different than the Vinyasa classes that you're used to practicing with me. It does have a set structure though, so I want to call it out for what it is 🙂 Have fun!
Vinyasa with headstands
Start with a ladder flow and then find a headstand or three, including funky headstand/
Side body ladder flow with handstands and arm balances
Well the title says it all. We work your obliques with lateral bending and twists. We take it upside down for handstands and arm valances throughout this class. There’s even an opportunity to find your foreign balance if you want.
Sun Salutations A, B, C flow
Let's get moving! Starting practice with 15 sun salutes. 5 Sun As, 5 Sun Bs and 5 Sun Cs. That'll get the blood flowing 🙂
Side planks galore
OK, maybe not galore. But, lots of side planks. We also get into some inversions and flows right into crow and working on crow to tripod headstand and back again.
Extra Core Vinyasa
OK, full disclosure: I hurt my back. I know, I know, it’s always one injury after the other. That’s what happens when you’re an aging athlete. This time I did it running with my dog. I need to train her to give me warning when she’s just gonna stop on a dime to go to the bathroom. Anyway, if you learn one thing for me, let it be that back injuries are relieved best with twisting, core work, [...]
Lots of upside down time
Shari, this one’s for you!
Side bending vinyasa
Side body today and even taking it upside down and working it there.
Vinyasa with Core Activation
Here's something new for me: adding core work to a vinyasa class. Just kidding! I do that all the time. HOWEVER, this one is a little different core work than I've done previously. Apart from that it's an all around vinyasa class 🙂
Relatively tame Vinyasa class (at least for me)
If you haven’t been practicing with me live in person, then it’s possible you haven’t heard me whining about my shoulder injury. Consider yourself lucky! I’m half kidding. I do have one though, and it’s no joking matter. So, this is a Vinyasa class where you get to see me modify every Vinyasa. No handstands. Some extra stretching. Join me!
Work and stretch those hammies vinyasa
We work those legs, but we stretch them too. We have some challenging balance sequences thrown in there.
Vinyasa with leg engagement
This is an all around vinyasa class, but we hit legs throughout the practice. We also stretch them out at the end, so don't turn off the video early!
Vinyasa class with extra core at the end
For those of you who like core with a little bit a Vinyasa on the side, this one is for you. Just kidding, it’s mostly Vinyasa class, but we do some extra core at the end, Pilates style.
All around high energy vinyasa class
We may start out slow with some neck stretches, but don’t be fooled, we pick up the pace!
Dancers and Psoas Stretching Vinyasa
Let’s be honest, lots of us overwork are so as muscle. We sit too much, we drive too much, we do lots of boats and running and hiking and cycling. We don’t always stop to stretch that overburdened muscle. We do that in this class.
All around ladder flow with core
This is a vigorous Vinyasa class that is just an all-around work out. We start out with some shoulder stretching, move into a well rounded ladder and finish with a good amount of core. Grab your hand towel, this one gets sweaty.
Legs! Lower body yoga focus
By request, this practice is heavy on leg strength. I hope you enjoy it! Full disclosure, I found this one very challenging. I tend to gravitate towards upper body focused yoga because that is what’s easiest for me. That said, this is all great work!
Handstand Flow
LOTS of opportunities to go upside down in this flow. We also work core A LOT. For those of you like me who love to move fast, go upside down, get a full sweat going and work hard in a fitness-y yoga practice, you'll love this one.
Vinyasa Yoga with IT band stretching
Runners, cyclists, hikers: this is for you. By request, this vinyasa class has a focus on stretching the IT band (runs along the outside of the your thigh, starting at your pelvis and connects to your tibia).
