Ok you masochists… you’re always asking for core, well here you go. This is an unapologetically core-heavy class. On our backs for half of class and engaging that transverse abdominis (deep core muscle). If you did my pilates inspired class, then you’ve seen much of the early movements that we do. Then hit our obliques and then glutes. The only part of core that we don’t hit too hard in this class are hip flexors. I promise (or threaten, if you hate psoas work) we’ll have a class dedicated to that. After all, those are our pressing muscles. Have fun!
