This should really be titled “Companion to Yesterday’s Core Class.” We hit lots of core yesterday, except one very notable muscle. Your favorite and mine, the iliopsoas (psoas for short). If you’ve never done towel/sock work with me, you’re in for a treat. Just kidding. It’s hard. HOWEVER, if you every want to press into your inversions (headstand, forearm stand, handstand) or float – not jump – during sun salutations, you need to make this part of your weekly strengthening routine. So, grab your socks (or a towel) if you’re on floor, or your sliders (paper plates work) if you’re on a carpet. Let’s do this!

Note: I also classified this as Upper Body Focus because this work will also demand a lot from your shoulders.
