In today’s class, we visit some of our common arm balances and get funky with them. No, I’m not going to start playing Funkytown. In yoga, we call asymmetrically putting one forearm and one hand down in an arm balance. Sometimes it adds more challenge to a pose by throwing your center off a little, and sometimes it makes a pose easier by increasing surface area on the ground. Whatever the case, it can be nice to mix up your practice a little. Enjoy!
