Often I take requests before live class. I love addressing students’ issues in real time. After all, yoga is therapy! Well, this one was for me. Yoga is very good at stretching out hamstrings. Everything from down dog, to triangle, to standing forward fold – even most of our seated stretches – stretch the hamstrings. What yoga doesn’t stretch nearly as much is the front of the thigh – your quadriceps. We do that in that class. Crescent, dancer, crab and several camels take center stage.
