Dancer/Core Flow Vinyasa

By |2021-08-17T17:37:22-07:00August 17th, 2021|0 Comments

We work lots of dancers into our flow. We also hit core pretty hard in this class, specifically the elusive iliopsoas. As usual we spend a little time upside down in handstand and pincha and lots of movement.

Backbends & Balancing Ladder Flow

This a head to toe flow. We start with some lower back stretches, move into a fun flow with balancing, twists, and inversions. We finish with extra core work. Fun!

This is another challenging class (grab your hand towel, it's a sweaty one) and we really work on getting into those hips. We build up chair figure fours until we land in our flying pigeon pose (eka pada galavasana).

360 Degrees of Core Vinyasa

When the request for core happened today, I decided to explore what that really means. It's easy to confuse core strength with only ab strength and specifically 6 pack muscle strength.
